FORDLAND, MO – A 38-year-old man was sent to a hospital for serious injuries after he was struck by a 39-year-old woman operating a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Sunday.
This collision happened around 5 a.m. on U.S. 60. The 39-year-old woman — Ryan O’Brien — lost control of her vehicle due to the ice and hit the male pedestrian — Kent Boydstun — before hitting a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado.
Boydstun was rushed to Cox South for treatment, while O’Brien and the Silverado driver — 23-year-old Kinley Collins — were unharmed.
