Narrative
SCHUYLER CO., MO – A 16-year-old from Glenwood was hurt Monday in a head-on collision along the highway in southwest Schuyler County.
The incident occurred just south of Queen City on US-63. This is about 180 miles northeast of Kansas City.
Police say that the teen’s northbound SUV entered the southbound side of the highway and crashed head-on into a southbound truck.
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the accident, which the teen sustained non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine what might have caused the teen to enter the wrong side of the highway.
