Narrative
NEAR BARING, MO – A 64-year-old woman lost her life after she crashed her 2020 Jeep Cherokee into a bridge off Route K, leading it to overturn and land on its roof in a creek Saturday.
The woman was identified as Ruth Givens, an Edina, Missouri, resident. The crash was reported at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, but Givens and her Jeep were not found until Sunday. As a result, she was declared dead at the scene.
Missouri State Highway Patrol shut down Route K to accommodate the investigation process.
