Narrative
NOVELTY, MO – A 19-year-old woman was hospitalized for moderate injuries when the garbage truck she drove overturned on Missouri Highway 15 around 2 p.m. Thursday. A good samaritan – 26-year-old Mikhael Bollinger of Festus – noticed the accident and came to her aid. Bollinger was able to get the driver – 19-year-old Virginia Clark of Columbia – out of the vehicle by cutting a seatbelt she was wearing with a pocket knife. Clark was then sent to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment.
