Narrative
PITTSVILLE, MO – Two-people went to the hospital Thursday after a two-vehicle crash along the highway on the east side of Pittsville.
The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. on the westbound side of US-50 and and Northwest 1201st Road, which is east of Pittsville Cemetary.
Police say that a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the intersection. The impact caused the Jeep to travel off of the roadway and crash into a stop sign.
Medics transported the drier of the Jeep and a passenger from the Nissan to the hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine liability in the crash.
