Narrative
SADDLEBROOKE, MO – A multi-vehicle crash near Saddlebrooke claimed the life of a Walnut Shade woman on Monday afternoon.
Troopers with MSHP say 55-year-old Sandra Puckett was waiting at the intersection of MO-175 and US-65 when a pickup truck careened off the highway and into her SUV.
Puckett suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Her passenger, Matthew Puckett, 32, was rushed to Springfield Hospital in serious condition.
The pickup’s driver, a Springfield man, was arrested on suspicion of DWI and possession of methamphetamine.
