Narrative
Two were hospitalized following a head-on crash on MO 14 near Sparta after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28th. Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver of Traffic Unit 1, a 17-year-old boy, entered the path of Traffic Unit 2. The driver of Traffic Unit 2, 56-year-old Steven Vincent, swerved to avoid the crash. However, he was unsuccessful, and, as a result, both vehicles collided head-on. Vincent and the other driver were transported to Cox Medical Center South for minor injuries.
