Narrative

BUCHANAN COUNTY, MO – A 70-year-old male driver was killed when he was struck by a 21-year-old female motorist on U.S. 169 Monday morning. The 21-year-old woman – Caitlin Mccomas of Easton, Missouri – cutoff Mark Smith, and hit Smith’s passenger side of the vehicle. Smith’s vehicle skidded and it rolled over. Smith was thrown from his vehicle and later pronounced dead at the scene.
